About Me Most of my life has been following adventures. Now that I'm relatively domesticated, I'm finding family responsibilities a unique adventure in itself. A full time occupation and extremely rewarding.
Music I like nearly anything with melody and meter. I was raised with an accordian. I enjoy string instruments, including the piano. A gift of music is one of the greatest gifts.
Movies Ruth and I have a few DVDs; however, we usually watch the kind that our daughter likes, because we borrow them from her.
TV News, a few special serials and the educational channels. I seldom spend time watching the advertisement channels. I wonder if anyone buying that time thinks anybody does watch them.
Books I haven't read a decent peice of literature for years; although, I have read a number of educational references. See what TV has done?
Likes I like older people because they have wisdom, middle ages for their enthusiasm, young people because they are cute, tean agers because they know everything and children because I'm bigger than them.
Dislikes The things I dislike aren't worth mentioning, except perhaps to change them if I can.
Hobbies Computers and electronics in general. Math, chemestry, photography, puzzles, music, but most of all, nature.
Vices I try new things for adventure as long as it doesn't hurt anything. If I don't like it, I don't do it any more. If someone declares it a VICE then I will take their opinion under ad-VICE-ment.
Virtues You may find a small percentage of my virtues in the 'Boy Scout Handbook'. The rest are too numerous to mention here.
Heroes I don't know most of my heros personally. They are those that have done for me that which I don't consider myself a hero for having done for others. Its all very confusing for something thats so very clear.

    Unbannished

Thank you Lady Dove for inviting me to this forum. You are the best friend and companion I could ever hope to know.

Once upon a time, the worst social punishment someone could receive was bannishment. It was literally a death sentence. The opposite posture is to become an integral part of the society, to contribute and to receive the benefits of a beneficial division of labor. Such a grouping might be a tribe or a coven. I value being a member of such a grouping.

I hope to contact friends here that I can share with in this sense. I want to become close to those that think as I do. I trust that I place myself in the right place to accomplish this. I welcome anyone that feels the same.
